About Neighborhood Focus

Neighborhood Focus is a Christ-Centered bilingual community center that empowers young children, youth and adults of all ages to full achieve their God-given potential.

Founded in 2004, Neighborhood Focus began as a free, faith-based, out-of-school time (extended learning) program for less fortunate children in grades 1-12 living in the White Horse Road Corridor of Greenville, SC.  With separate programs for elementary and middle/high school students, we provide much needed year-round academic support, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) enrichment, mentoring, and discipleship.  Afterschool, Friday Club, and Summer Day Camps provide high quality, evidence-informed programming in a Christ-centered, bilingual environment.  We help students reduce risky adolescent behaviors and develop critical 21st century social and emotional skills for career and life success. The goal is to create real hope and opportunities and provide a solid foundation for future achievement.

We're expanding our mission to offer a set of strategic life-cycle programs that work together across age bands and whole families to create resiliency, upward mobility and sustainable well-being.

Join us as we work together to build hope one life at a time for children and families in Greenville, S.C.

Neighborhood Focus's programs are vital in our community because these students and their families have such a thirst for what’s being offered to them. Many of these students have nothing to go home to.

When they come to Neighborhood Focus, they’re getting help with their studies, learning about the Bible, building positive relationships. It shows when their grades and their outlook on their future start to improve.
